Vacation rental calendars for TidyOps
The rental calendar integration is an import of a secret, standards-compliant iCal feed used to coordinate turnover context, not a direct booking-provider API. Automate rental turnover context from a secret, standards-compliant iCal calendar feed without claiming a direct booking-provider partnership.

Verified status
TidyOps has confirmed the setup path, production data flow, permission boundaries, known limitations, and support ownership described below.
Setup
- A company owner connects a secret HTTPS iCal URL to a TidyOps rental property, turnover service, optional checklist, local checkout/check-in times, IANA timezone, routing preference, and automatic or review mode.
- The feed credential is encrypted at rest. The owner workspace exposes only a configured marker and safe display details, never the secret URL.
How data moves
- TidyOps fetches the standards-compliant iCalendar feed using bounded, safe-host requests and parses reservation UIDs, dates, timezones, cancellations, and duplicate events.
- UID-based reconciliation updates rental reservation state and projects checkout, next check-in, same-day-window, and turnover context for the selected property and service.
- Feed health, sync status, failures, retries, visible exceptions, and projected turnover context are returned to the tenant-scoped owner workspace.
Limitations
- This is iCal calendar-feed automation only. TidyOps does not have a direct Airbnb, VRBO, Guesty, Hostaway, Hospitable, channel-manager, or booking-provider API partnership through this integration.
- The source must provide a reachable HTTPS iCal feed; malformed feeds, unavailable hosts, duplicate UIDs, and conflicting operational history become errors or visible exceptions rather than silently deleting completed work.
- Calendar availability is reservation context and does not guarantee that a cleaning arrival can occur within the checkout-to-check-in window.
Permissions and data access
- Only an authorized company owner or administrator can manage that tenant company’s rental calendar feeds.
- Feed configuration and projected turnover context remain scoped to the selected company and rental property; credentials are not shown to staff or published in directory content.
Support
- TidyOps support can help owners validate the iCal feed configuration, review visible health and exception state, and retry or replace a feed.
- The calendar publisher remains responsible for the feed URL, reservation contents, and availability. Never send a secret feed URL in support requests.
