Assign employees to cleaning jobs
A job assignment is the allocation of eligible employees or a team to confirmed cleaning work in Schedule.

Staff a confirmed job
Owners and managers assign confirmed jobs from Schedule. TidyOps checks assignment eligibility and can surface working-hours, overlap, location, and staffing conflicts before the assignment is saved.
- 1Open Schedule and locate the confirmed job.
- 2Open the assignment control for that job.
- 3Review eligible employees and teams, including any conflict or availability information.
- 4Select the team or individual employees required for the job.
- 5If the selected headcount differs from the job requirement, enter the requested staffing-override reason.
- 6Save the assignment. Employees can then see their own assigned work in the employee schedule.
How should I handle an assignment conflict?
Review the conflict and available staff before saving the assignment; do not treat an override as proof of availability.
For example, when a cleaner is absent, open the affected job, review eligible replacements and team-size requirements, then save the supported change. If staffing differs from the required size, provide the requested reason. Reopen the job to confirm the assigned employees and time window.
What are the limits of this workflow?
Employee accounts cannot assign coworkers. A manager must consider location, availability, overlaps, travel, and required staffing rather than only whether a name is selectable.
