Maintain the staff roster

The Team workspace keeps employee records, work details, availability, and access status together. What a manager can view or change is limited by role and location.

  1. 1Open Team from the workspace navigation.
  2. 2Add an employee or open an existing staff record.
  3. 3Enter the supported identity, employment, work, availability, and compensation-planning details.
  4. 4Save the record and review any effective-date or scheduling warnings.
  5. 5When access is needed, send or manage the staff invitation shown in Team. The employee must accept the invitation before using the protected employee workspace.
Before setting a final work date or deactivating an employee, review the future-assignment warning and reassign affected jobs.

What should I do before ending an employee’s access?

Review future assignments and reassign affected work before relying on a final work date or deactivation.

For example, a cleaner leaving at the end of a month may still be assigned to the next month’s jobs. Review the warning shown when editing their record, identify affected work, and use Schedule to arrange replacement coverage. Saving a roster change is not proof that every job has been restaffed.

What are the limits of this workflow?

An invitation must be accepted before protected employee access is available. Compensation-planning details are not proof that payroll has been processed.
