Move commercial work from request to completion

Commercial work orders organize customer-requested and internal site work such as extra cleaning, complaints, spills, and urgent requests. Access and actions depend on the requester’s role and permitted sites.

  1. 1Open Commercial and choose Work Orders, or use the commercial portal action for a permitted site.
  2. 2Create a request with the site, type, priority, description, requested date, and any supported evidence.
  3. 3Review the request status and respond to clarification requests when needed.
  4. 4Managers approve or decline the request, assign a team, and schedule it through the supported workflow.
  5. 5Update the work through completion and attach the available completion evidence and billing context.
A work order does not automatically publish a new contract price. Managers must use the supported pricing and billing workflow.

How do I document extra cleaning outside a routine visit?

Create a work request for the permitted site and let the supported review, scheduling, and billing workflow determine the next steps.

For example, describe a spill using the site, priority, requested date, and service-relevant evidence. Respond to clarification requests before assuming it is scheduled. Managers approve or decline the request and arrange the assigned team; completion evidence should document the requested work rather than unrelated routine tasks.

What are the limits of this workflow?

Creating a request does not automatically publish a contract price or confirm a paid visit. Site permissions and role-specific actions apply throughout the workflow.
