Send a site supply request

Supply requests keep the item, quantity, urgency, site, requester, and delivery context together. They support company supplies and client-funded consumables without acting as a procurement system.

  1. 1Open the commercial site and choose Supply Requests.
  2. 2Select the item, enter the requested quantity and needed-by information, and add useful notes or evidence.
  3. 3Submit the request and monitor its review status.
  4. 4Managers review and approve, decline, or clarify the request.
  5. 5Record delivery or partial fulfillment and close the request when the approved quantity is complete.
When a delivery is partial, enter only the quantity delivered. The remaining approved quantity stays available for follow-up.

How do I record a partial supply delivery?

Record only the quantity actually delivered and leave the outstanding approved quantity for follow-up.

For example, if a request for ten units receives four, record four as delivered, not ten. Check that the selected item and unit match what arrived. The remaining six should stay visible for later fulfillment rather than being closed by a note saying the order was received.

What are the limits of this workflow?

Approval is not delivery. The request workflow is not a purchasing system and does not prove a supplier order or payment was placed.
