Work from your permitted commercial sites

The commercial portal shows each invited contact only the account or sites and workflows allowed by their contact permissions. Available areas can include visits, work orders, supply requests, inspections, quality, documents, invoices, and proof of service.

  1. 1Sign in and open the Commercial area of your account.
  2. 2Select a permitted site and confirm its address before creating a request.
  3. 3Use the supported portal action to review service, request work or supplies, or open available documents and quality records.
  4. 4Open a proof-of-service or invoice record only when it is provided for your contact and site permissions.
  5. 5Contact your account administrator when a permitted site or expected workflow is missing.
A commercial contact does not automatically receive account-wide access. Do not forward portal content to contacts who are not authorized for that site.

Why can two contacts see different site records?

Each contact’s permissions determine which sites and actions are available.

For example, a contact responsible for one building may see its visits and permitted requests without seeing another building’s documents. Confirm the site address before submitting work or supplies. Ask the account administrator to review missing access rather than forwarding another contact’s records.

What are the limits of this workflow?

A portal invitation is not account-wide authorization. Invoice, proof, document, and quality access can differ even when contacts belong to the same company.
